Our CMS counselor, Mrs. Malia Robinson, attended the ALSCA Critical Issues Conference in Montevallo alongside counselors and district leaders from Chilton County Schools.

Our CMS student, Donovan E. is a 13-year old young man who was born with Spina Bifida. On October 27th he will undergo his 25th surgery.
This surgery will be one of his biggest surgeries to date.
Donovan will be having a spinal fusion surgery, and rods put in his back.
Over the past year and half Donovan's scoliosis has increased by more that 10 degrees and has started causing pressure sores and pain making this surgery necessary. Let’s rally together and support this family!

Mr. Meank’s and Mrs. Ray’s science classes got hands-on with frog dissections! 🐸🔬 Students explored frog anatomy and connected what they’ve learned in class to what they could see firsthand. We love seeing our Tigers learn through experiences like this! 🧡💙
