Today, the U.S. Department of Education announced a final rule to implement the Workforce Pell Grant program created under President Trump’s historic Working Families Tax Cuts Act.

What an impressive evening it was last night. We celebrated over 170 senior career tech students achieving valuable industry credentials, scholarships, and College and Career Readiness Endorsements. Our Utility Lineman students were well represented in each of these areas, earning NCCER Credentials, OSHA training, Skid Steer Certifications, CPR/First Aid certifications, and two scholarships. Notably, Ethan Easterling received the Robertson Scholarship in the amount of $500 and the McKinnon Workforce Initiative Scholarship in the amount of $2,000. Congratulations to our deserving seniors on their outstanding achievement. Overall LCTC students were awarded $712,394 in scholarships directly tied to their training at LeCroy Carrer Tech.

At the end of the year we celebrate our Seniors by taking grad photos climbing. Today we got a few before the rain came. We will be uploading more soon but here is a few we got today.

The weather hasn't been nice lately so we have been working on OSHA 10 training inside and havent gotten outside much. Yesterday we finished OSHA so it was time for a little climbing action this morning.
