See the back to school newsletter from Mrs. Fisher below. In the initial one sent out by Miss Cami, I had CPC meetings wrong. They will usually be the 1st Tuesday of the month not the third Wednesday. I guess my summer brain is still going strong. :)

Hello Clancy Cougars! We are busily preparing to welcome you all back to a new school year! We are doing things a little differently this year. Our traditional back to school night has changed to an Open House after the first three days of school in order to provide an opportunity for families to sit down and receive information directly from their child's teacher about what to expect for the new year and how you can best support your child at home. It is important to us that we (staff, students, and families) are all part of the team to ensure student success. Back to school night has always been primarily about finding a desk, putting school supplies away and getting settled. There is often very little time to ask questions or gain information. While we recognize this has value certainly, we also feel like we are missing a key opportunity to start the year as a united team, ready to support every learner. We are also excited to wrap up Open House night (See previous post for more details) with our first BLOCK PARTY! We will have three food trucks, music playing and opportunity to reconnect with friends and staff. What a fun way to start another year at the one and only Clancy School!

It is hard to believe how quickly summer is winding down. Get out there and make a few more memories, and we will see you back at school for the first day on August 26!! Please be watching for a welcome letter or postcards or newsletter from your child's teacher! Our back to school open house is on Monday, August 31 from 4-5:00pm followed by our first annual BLOCK PARTY!!!!

Do you want to come work for a preK through 8th grade school that has small class sizes, an amazing school team and community and a beautiful campus? We have a middle school science opening!

Middle School Classroom Teacher:

Clancy School is seeking a qualified Middle School Classroom Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This position will be responsible for teaching 7th & 8th grade science content.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students and families, and a commitment to academic excellence and student growth. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging science instruction aligned to state standards, collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate student records, and contributing positively to the school community.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Montana teaching license with a 00E Elementary endorsement. A specific 5-12 Science endorsement is desirable, but not required for this position.

Coaching and extracurricular opportunities may also be available.

How lucky and blessed are we to have such a stellar cafeteria/kitchen crew?!?! Not only do they make and serve home-cooked meals every day with a smile, but they make a homemade birthday treat for every staff member (even the high maintenance gluten free principal) on their birthday. How did we get so lucky?!

Also, Miss Cami's birthday is on Friday. :)
