Due to forecasted extreme heat, humidity and air quality, Clairton City School District will shift to synchronous remote learning on Tuesday, September 1, Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3, 2026. Students should log in and participate in classes remotely following their regular school-day schedule. The safety of our students and staff remains the highest priority. Yesterday, third graders read the poem “Sharing Our Similarities and Celebrating Our Differences.” Students discussed how everyone is unique and how our differences make us special.

After reading, students chose five different colored beads, with each color representing something special about themselves— these beads were then used to design their bracelets 💕🌈

Mrs. Mignogna welcomed her new Kindergarteners to class today with a special sign courtesy of her daughter Ava! We know these B.E.A.R.S leaders are going to have an amazing year at Clairton Elementary!

On our first day of third grade in Ms. Dreher’s room, students participated in a fun team-building activity! One student in each group was blindfolded while their teammates worked together to guide them through the puzzle. This activity encouraged communication, teamwork, trust, and problem-solving skills!
