There is something new coming to Harrisburg's Riverfront!

We're currently working on a tree carving that will represent the native gamefish of the Susquehanna River. This carving began today and will continue through the remainder of the week until completion.

Tree carving sponsors help support the Susquehanna River School and its mission to educate students of ALL ages about the incredible History and natural wonders of this river!

The River School has been nominated as a 2018 finalist for the Nonprofit Innovation awards!

Our program grew by leaps and bounds in 2017, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be among such great company! This will mark the River School's 20th season the river, and we can't wait for June to get here!

We've got some great helpers from Harrisburg Academy at our office today. They are setting up Purple Martin nests to try and attract these beautiful and helpful birds in the spring.

We are good to sail again! The waters have receded, and we'll be out tomorrow with private River School groups. Yay!!
