Say hello to Mrs. Storlie! 🦁💫

Hey all! Mrs. Storlie here with just a little bit about who I am outside of the classroom. I LOVE to do anything in nature. That could include hiking, rock climbing, camping, soccer matches, or just a simple sunset walk. I also love fiction books and often have a hard time putting them down. I have enjoyed exploring some of the amazing wineries in our great state and also have picked up a love for boba teas. I am happily married to Mr. Storlie (7/8th grade teacher) whom I met in high school in our home state of Wisconsin.

Back to the classroom… I am blessed to be the 3rd/4th grade teacher and Spanish teacher for grades 3-8. Your children are such a joy to teach and I look forward to getting to know you all better!

Meet Mrs. Boushek! 🦁💫

Hello St. Mark's Family, I'm Rosemarie Boushek, teacher in grades 1 & 2. This past summer my sons and I, along with their family members, rented a home in Breckenridge, Colorado. We enjoyed the great mountain views and weather with hikes, walks through town, gondola rides, family games, and co****le tournaments. I alsopulled the trigger on a kitchen renovation, something I have been wanting to do for years on my 50- year-old kitchen.

As always, I look forward to seeing the growth in my students as they progress through the year and I hope all our experiences strengthen our whole school family.

Hello! My name is Elise Matthies, and I am the JrK/Kindergarten teacher here at St. Mark’s. This is my 3rd year here in Citrus Heights and my 4th year teaching.

This summer, I explored some more of California, saw my brother and his family, and got to watch my beloved Brewers play against the Giants in San Francisco.

I am the curriculum coordinator, run the school's social media accounts, and I will be directing the play again this spring. Outside of school, I love to read, visit new coffee shops, and explore all California has to offer. Go Lions!

Time to meet the faculty and staff of St. Mark's 🦁💫

Hello, St. Mark’s. My name is Mr. Tyler Wahl, and this is my sixth year here at St. Mark’s, and my second year as Principal. This summer has been a good mix of travel, work, and time to rest and relax.

My girlfriend Diana and I have picked up hiking as a hobby and have had a blast traveling around our beautiful state and seeing God’s creation! Ripple has grown so much over the last summer and is still a ball of energy who loves to play and meet new people.

When I am not with Ripple or working, I enjoy playing golf and volleyball, or watching my Wisconsin sports team, the Bucks, Brewers, and Packers. I am looking forward to this next school year and seeing what God has in store for St. Mark’s.
