College & Career Readiness Department: San Juan Unified School District

Are you interested in learning more about the experience at UC? Do you want to hear from current students and families? Or be able to ask admission representatives from all nine undergraduate campuses your questions?

You and your family are welcome to join us for a free virtual event to help you understand more about what you can do at UC and what UC can do for you! This event is open to any high school or community college student who is considering applying to UC next fall or beyond. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance!

This signature event welcomes prospective undergraduate students to tour the campus, meet with representatives from academic majors, student support services, and student organizations, and get assistance with their application and acceptance. An El Sereno High School student co-enrolled at Del Campo High School for the Fire Technology/Emergency Response CTE pathway recently participated in the Oakland Girls Fire Academy. Her favorite parts of the academy were the aerial ladder, using chainsaws to cut up a car, and using the jaws of life. She would recommend to any girls interested in firefighting to get involved!

It's College Week!!

Today, students and staff are busy decorating their doors with a college and career readiness theme.

Tomorrow evening, the College & Career Readiness Department: San Juan Unified School District will host a College & Career Readiness Night from 6:00-7:00 P.M. on Zoom Webinar.
