San Juan Preschool, located in Citrus Heights CA is always growing and has a wonderful job opportunity available. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching young children, and being a part of our family! We are looking for fully-qualified teachers. We provide a warm, safe, clean, and happy environment that assist children in developing their problem-solving and decision-making abilities; life skills that will allow them to function in our ever changing world. Each member of our staff is required to meet the qualifications set by the state of California, Licensing and they must complete a full background check. Teacher's starting pay scale is $13.00-$15.00; depending on experience.
This job is a Full Time position, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday – one shift is from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We also have a part time position, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday - this shift is from 12:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m

Our Teachers must:
* Have at least the minimum required Early Childhood Education Units required by Licensing to be considered a Childcare Provider (12 core + E.C.E units).
* CPR/First Aid certified (must show proof).
* At least 12 months experience working as a teacher.
*Have a Criminal and Fingerprint Background Clearance.
*Pass a pre-employment Physical and T.B. Test.
*At least 3 professional references.
*Speak and write clearly in English.
*Experience in a Childcare Center.
*Works well with a team of teachers.
*Prepare Curriculum that is age appropriate for your age group.
