🐾 MCPSS Learning Launch PD: Ready to ROAR into 2nd Quarter!

Today, our Citronelle High School teachers came together for Learning Launch professional development focused on learning intentions, success criteria, and checking for understanding. These instructional practices help ensure our students know what they are learning, what success looks like, and how to monitor their own progress.

As we prepare to kick off the second quarter, our teachers are ready to put their learning into action and continue finding ways to make a positive impact on student achievement!

We’re proud of our Wildcats and their commitment to growing as educators and helping every student succeed. Let’s make the second quarter our best one yet!

Join us on Monday, October 19th, for Parenting Day at Citronelle High School!

📍 9:00 AM – Parents of freshmen and sophomore students
📍 10:00 AM – Parents of junior and senior students

During this time, parents will receive important school information, attend our 1st Quarter Awards Ceremony recognizing Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance students, and have the opportunity to pick up report cards.

👕 Reminder: Students should wear their school uniforms.

- All 9th grade students will take Pre-ACT 9,
- All 10th grade students will take Pre-ACT Secure
- All seniors will take ACT WorkKeys.

** Please help make sure your child is present and on-time for testing.
** Book bags and electronic devices should be left at home.
** During testing, 11th grade students will complete lessons in MasteryPrep.
