We are extremely proud of Garrett! He is an outstanding young man, athlete, and musician! We are grateful to have him as part of the Mighty Lobo Band! We look forward to cheering for him and the rest of the Loboes this fall!

The Mighty Lobo Band is off and running! We have had a fantastic first couple of morning of marching fundamentals with our rookie marchers! They are going to be fantastic!

This Friday, 7/31/2026, is uniform checkout and we are making a slight change on the times for each grade. We use the following schedule for uniform check out on Friday:

9:00 AM - Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores.
10:00 AM - 9th Grade
11:00 AM - 8th Grade

Our student leadership has been working hard this week refining their leadership skills and helping plan for a great marching season!! Tomorrow is our first full band event, Stand-Tune-A-Palooza, from 6-8 PM!!!! Students are highly encourage to be there early to get instruments ready and find their spot in this years set up!!!! We are very excited to see the 2026 Mighty Lobo Band in action for this first time tomorrow evening and cannot wait to start full band rehearsals next Monday!!

We have reached July, and that means we are closer to the start of Marching Season! We look forward to this fall and presenting our show, "The Journey Home".

This is our current summer rehearsal schedule.

A few notes about the rehearsal schedule:

1) Leadership = Student Leadership team (Drum Majors, Squad Leaders, etc.)

2) Rookie(s) = Any first year marcher regardless of grade.

3) On days that we have two rehearsals, the band hall will remain open between the rehearsals to provide a place for students to stay if needed.

4) It will be hot during most of our rehearsals. Students will need to make sure they are dressed appropriately. Avoid dark colors. Drink water every day. Spend time outside every day to acclimate for the summer rehearsal schedule.

If you have a student who will be in the Mighty Lobo Band, please have the check their school email for more specific information about rehearsals.

We are looking to seeing everyone at our first full band event, Stand-tune-a-palooza on Thursday, July 23rd!

This morning we were honored to recognize our Senior Band Members who have chosen to continue in either band or dance at the collegiate level.

Harper Honea signed to become a member of the Cisco College Wrangler Band.

Kaylah Molien signed to become a member of the Cisco College Wrangler Belles.

Abcde Smith signed to become a member of the Tarleton State University Texan Marching Band - The Sound and the Fury.

We are exceptionally proud of these young performers and look forward to seeing them perform at the next level!

Thank you to the Cisco College Wrangler Band, Wrangler Band, and Tarleton's The Sound and the Fury Directors for joining us to support these amazing students.
