New Hope Christian Academy & Early Learning Center is a chartered nonpublic K-12 school and preschool (18 months - PreK). Our desire at NHCA is to be set apart. Set apart for Christ and His Kingdom in all we do, whether it is through Spiritual Growth, Academic Excellence, or Student Life opportunities. One core belief at NHCA is that we are made for community. We believe community is for connection and relationship. Even though the casual, surface level, social interactions and gathering are an important part of a community, it must go deeper. Authentic community is where people are intentionally equipping, encouraging, sharpening, and pointing others directly to Christ. Now more than ever our pursuit is to provide a place where we can constantly carry a vision of hope, a vision of new life in Christ, and a vision of unity. MISSION

Our littlest Statesmen took learning beyond the classroom with a fun-filled field trip to Van Buren Acres! 🍂

A day filled with fall fun, exploration, laughter, and sweet memories! Our preschoolers enjoyed the excitement of being outdoors, spending time with friends, and experiencing the wonders of God's beautiful creation. 🍁☀️

🌶️🔥 Things were heating up today at our Chili Cook-Off! 🔥🌶️

Our teachers traded their lesson plans for secret recipes and brought their best chili to the table! 🥣👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

There was plenty of delicious chili, friendly competition, laughter, and fun as everyone sampled the tasty creations! Of course, no cook-off would be complete without a little competition and some well-deserved awards! 🏆

A big THANK YOU to all our teachers who participated and helped make today such a fun event!

🤖✨ Big Ideas from Our Smallest Engineers! ✨🤖

Our 5-year-old preschool roboticists have been busy exploring the world of robots! 🛠️💡

In our recent robotics class, our young learners discovered what makes a robot a robot—a machine that can work on its own! They also learned why robots are so helpful, especially for jobs that are: 🤢 Stinky or yucky ⚡ Scary or dangerous 😴 Or just plain boring!

After learning the basics, our students put their imaginations to work! Using fun robot sticker sheets, each child designed their very own robot and decided on its special, important job. From super-helpful tools to imaginative inventions, our little engineers are already thinking big!

We love seeing their creativity, problem-solving, and big ideas come to life. Way to go, future roboticists! 🚀👏

🙏💙 **ALL-SCHOOL CHAPEL | ARE YOU EXPERIENCING GOD?** 💙🙏

During yesterday’s all-school chapel, Athletic Director, David Holt, shared a powerful message about Samuel and the call of God on his life.

Samuel’s story begins with his mother, Hannah, who faithfully prayed for a son and promised that if God answered her prayer, she would dedicate her child to serving Him. God answered, and while Samuel was still young, he went to live and serve in the tabernacle.

In 1 Samuel 3, Samuel heard a voice calling his name three times. At first, he believed Eli was calling him. Eventually, Eli recognized that it was the Lord speaking and instructed Samuel to respond:

“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:9

Samuel learned to recognize the voice of God and respond when God called. Mr. Holt left the students with a simple but powerful question to consider:
Are you experiencing God?

May we learn, like Samuel, to listen for God’s voice, recognize His work in our lives, and be ready to respond when He calls. 🙏💙

💵 **Decimals in Action in 6th Grade Math!** 💵

Our 6th graders kicked off their chapter on decimals with a little cash—play money, that is! 💰

Each student started with a certain amount of money and then put their math skills to work in real-life situations. They earned money through classroom jobs, spent money at the “Pumpkin Show” and on slushies, kept track of their balances, and even practiced giving by tithing 10%!*🙌

What a fun way to see that math goes far beyond the classroom! Through hands-on learning, students practiced working with decimals while also learning valuable lessons about earning, spending, budgeting, and giving. 💙
