One of our most recent grants helped bring four interactive driving simulators to Logan Elm High School!

LEEF was happy to be part of this exciting project alongside the Maxson Family Foundation, the Maria Tiberi Foundation, and Logan Elm Schools. Together, we're happy to give students a way to practice different driving skills before getting behind the wheel of a real car.

While using the simulator, students can practice things like using turn signals, looking both ways before going, being alert of emergency vehicles, and more. From what we’ve seen, they are already having a lot of fun with them!

We love being able to support projects that give our students new ways to learn and prepare for life beyond the classroom!

Come join us for a casual night with the Logan Elm Education Foundation at our Mix & Mingle!

Friday, November 6
6:30-8:30 PM
Zwicker House
115 E Main St, Circleville, OH 43113

Tickets are $25 per person. We’ll have appetizers, a chance auction, door prizes and a great space to mingle with Logan Elm community members.

It’s a great way to spend an evening with other members of the community while supporting the Logan Elm Education Foundation and the work we do for our schools.

Interested in sponsoring for Mix & Mingle? Reach out to LEEF at [email protected] for more information about sponsorship options.

Also, a quick update about Braves, Blues & BBQ! This year, we decided to move our big event from September to March. We’re hoping this change makes it easier for more people in our community to attend. The next Braves, Blues & BBQ will be March 13!

We hope to see you at Mix & Mingle on November 6!

LEEF Grant in action! Thank you, Jessica Morgan for your grant request!
LEHS AP Seminar students went to see the new animated film Animal Farm on the heels of reading George Orwell’s original novel in the fall. This was a fun outing that offered students a well-earned break from preparing for the upcoming AP exam while also giving students an opportunity to practice skills evaluating multiple interpretations of a source text. Although reactions to this new film adaptation were mixed, the class had a good time critiquing it and making comparisons to the original text. - Jessica Morgan Senior English,AP Capstone: Seminar and Research

LEEF grant in action!
+ additional photos of Lego Club!

Thank you, Milea Sarap, for your grant submission and bringing such an amazing opportunity to our LE students!

Thank you once again for financially supporting our LEGO activities at Logan Elm. We had 140 students participate in the Lego Club this year! It really is amazing to see 36% of our 3rd-5th graders choosing to stay after school for this club. They are learning to be creative, to cooperate with partners, and to make their builds interactive. We had such a good time!

Lego Challenge Day was a success again as well. We had 90 students compete this year! Students built a "fantasy town" and were judged on their creativity, complexity, functionality and explanations to the judges. This event brings our community together for a fun day, and I had several parents tell me how glad they are that we offer this event at Logan Elm.

We cannot do enough to keep our students interested in the fast-paced world of STEAM education. Legos are high-interest tools we can use to tap into that world. Thank you again for your continued support.
