Professional Development Week is underway at Love To Grow On!

We kicked off our week with a wonderful day of learning, reflecting, and growing together! 💚

A special thank you to Tommaso Lana with for spending the day with our team and guiding us through “Making Sense of the Reggio Approach.”

Our staff explored the foundations of the Reggio-inspired approach, with a focus on children’s independent discoveries, competence, curiosity, and the important role our environments play in their learning. 🌱✨

We’re excited to take what we learned and bring it back into our classrooms as we prepare for another great year at Love To Grow On!

Ms. Sherie brought a little extra fun to LTGO with another staff guessing game! This time, our teachers tried to guess how many s'mores pieces were in the jar. There were lots of creative guesses, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.

Curiosity came to life today. 🐞

Our School Agers welcomed Bruce the Bug for an engaging, hands-on exploration of the insect world. Through observation, conversation, and the opportunity to safely interact with a variety of bugs, the children expanded their understanding of living creatures while building confidence and asking thoughtful questions.

Experiences like these inspire wonder, encourage scientific thinking, and remind us that meaningful learning often begins with curiosity.

🍩💙 Preschool 2 had a wonderful time celebrating Donuts with Dads! We were so excited to welcome dads, moms, grandparents, and other special loved ones into our classroom for a sweet morning together.

Our students loved sharing donuts, smiles, and special memories with the important people in their lives. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We are grateful for the love and support you give our little learners every day!

🍎🥛 Snack Time is More Than Just a Tasty Break! 🥛🍎

Our infants are busy learning every day—even during snack time! Providing healthy snacks helps support their growing bodies and developing brains while encouraging important self-feeding skills.

As infants explore different textures, flavors, and foods, they build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence in trying new things. Snack time also creates opportunities for social interaction, language development, and establishing healthy eating habits from an early age.

We love watching our little learners enjoy nutritious snacks and discover the joy of feeding themselves. These everyday moments are an important part of their growth and development! 💕👶

🌱🌼 We had our annual Family Gardening Day this week at Love To Grow On!

A huge thank you to all the families who contributed in any way—whether through donations, giving your time, or simply stopping by to help your child plant. Your support helps make this special tradition possible.

The children absolutely love this time of year. They enjoy planting, watering, and caring for our gardens throughout the summer while watching everything grow and bloom. It's a wonderful hands-on learning experience that teaches responsibility, patience, and an appreciation for nature.

Thank you for helping us create such a meaningful experience for our children. We can't wait to see our gardens flourish in the weeks ahead! 🌻🥕🌿
