I’m excited to share that Gary Geis is joining our Anderson High School Women’s Soccer staff as a Staff Coach this season. Gary will assist with all things soccer including training sessions, match preparation, individual player development, and day‑to‑day program operations.

Highlights from Gary’s background:

• 30+ years coaching youth and high‑school soccer, guided by three priorities: enjoyment through competition, individual development, and team‑based success.

• Anderson HS alum and former JV/Varsity player; youth club at Queen City Soccer Club; adult soccer with multiple clubs across Southwest Ohio.

• Coaching roots at Soccer Unlimited and Ohio South Youth Camps (1989–1995) under Jack Hermans; AHS Boys’ Varsity Assistant (1989–1993); Team Cincinnati U14–U16 Boys Head Coach/Trainer (1992–1995); Anderson JV Boys’ Head Coach (1994).

• Led Chesapeake SC U10–U11 Boys (1998–1999); nearly a decade with Cincinnati United SC coaching girls U10–U17 (2012–2020); Southeast Juniors Academy staff (2014–2016); VP of the Southeast silo and Board member (2015–2020).

• Since 2020, Assistant Varsity Coach for Turpin HS Girls’ Soccer.

We’re pumped to have Gary onboard. Please join me in welcoming him to the staff.

To Our Players, Families, Supporters, and Community Partners,

As we close the chapter on an unforgettable season, I want to take a moment to reflect, celebrate, and most importantly - say thank you.

This year’s tournament run was nothing short of extraordinary! We were absolutely blown away by the support that surrounded our team. From the sidelines to the bus rides, from the locker room to the community, your generosity and encouragement lifted us higher than we ever imagined.

To our community partners, your kindness made this journey possible:

Jersey Mike’s, thank you for stepping up and providing meals for our bus rides. You kept our players fueled and focused.

BSN Sports, your quick turnaround on our Final Four t-shirts helped us mark a milestone with pride and unity.

Croswell Bus Service, your responsiveness and commitment ensured we had transportation when we needed it most. You came through in a big way, and we’re so grateful.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department – Your es**rt to the final four was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for all you do!

Anderson High School Administration – Your help, guidance and attention to detail throughout the experience was second to none.

Parent Volunteers – No words! You guys are amazing! Without you none of this would be possible.

To our seniors, this season was a testament to your leadership, heart, and legacy. You’ve left an permanent mark on this program - not just through your play, but through your character. You’ve set the standard for what it means to be a part of this team, and your impact will be felt for years to come. We’re proud of you, we’re thankful for you, and we’ll miss you dearly.

To our returning players, take a few days to rest, reflect, and recharge. You’ve earned it! But then -it’s time to get back to work. The foundation is strong, and the future is bright. Let’s build on what we’ve started and come back even stronger. Next season starts in just 7 short months!

To those who will join our team next season or down the road, we can’t wait to welcome you! You’re stepping into a program built on hard work, respect, and unity. There’s a place for you here, and we’re excited for you to join us on the journey ahead.

To our families and supporters, thank you for your unwavering belief in our players and our mission. Your cheers, your time and your sacrifices - they mean everything. You are the heartbeat of this team! Tradition lives here!

This season was more than wins and losses. It was about community, growth, and shared purpose. We are humbled, we are grateful, and we are proud to represent Anderson High School.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Andy Boyd
