The school year is practically here! These are the BCP’s fall semester hours, they will begin the week of August 26!

We have volunteer opportunities Monday and Tuesday mornings, check out volunteer.uc.edu to sign up!

The BCP will close next Thursday, July 4 and will open again on Monday, July 8. The pantry will still be open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week!

The BCP Garden is well underway and thriving this summer! After some tough battles with groundhogs, we are beginning to see amazing produce pop up. Our first deliveries of fresh zucchini and yellow squash hit the BCP shelves this week, and we are expecting our tomatoes to begin fully ripening next week 🥰 🍅

We are so excited to expand our to-go bag program to the Veterans Programs & Services office. These “BCP MREs” are ready to go meal kits available to any student veteran. Stop by the office in University Pavillon during regular hours to pick one up!

The BCP’s Family First Program is hosting a summer giveaway of children’s items on Saturday, June 22, from 10am-1pm (or until supplies last) in Stratford Circle (2634 Stratford Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220). The event will be held outside of Stratford Pavilion but will move inside in the case of rain or other unexpected weather conditions. All items will be free to take, and the event is open to everyone at UC and in the greater Cincinnati community! Please share with caregivers you know! 🌼

For our Bearcats moving out of the residence halls this week, don’t forget to donate unwanted items to the BCP! We will happily accept food, kitchenware, and other household items- just please make sure it is clean and in nice condition! Food cannot be expired or open!

If your hall doesn’t have a bin, donations can be dropped off in the Stratford heights building 16 bin. Thanks!

Our summer schedule starts Monday April 29! 🌞

The CECH location is open Monday-Thursday and our CASH is closed for the summer but we have to-go bags in the deans office ✔️

Our panel event is tomorrow, April 19 from 1-3pm in the Mainstreet Cinema in TUC! Join us to hear from leaders at area colleges and universities about the fight against food insecurity on their campuses. All are welcome 😊🎉

We have an adjusted schedule during finals week due to staff exam schedules and some team members graduating. Congrats to all the grads walking the stage in a few weeks! 🎉🎓👏

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming event, Creating a Hunger Free Campus: A Panel Discussion. Join BCP staff and representatives from Cincinnati-area colleges as we discuss fighting student food insecurity on college campuses.
