It was an honor to welcome back generations of former La Salle staff members for a special evening of reconnection. Following dinner, our alumni staff received an update on the school's future from President Mike Overbey '91 and enjoyed a tour of their former workplace.
We are deeply grateful for their enduring dedication to the Lasallian mission. Even years after their formal tenure, their commitment to our past, present, and future students remains a true blessing to our Lancer community.

Students in AP Chemistry and Honors Chemistry 2 recently traveled to the Fernald Nature Preserve for a hands-on learning experience connecting science, history and environmental stewardship.
During the visit, students explored the site’s history as a uranium processing plant, examined how global events influenced its development, and learned about the extensive environmental cleanup efforts completed after operations ended.

🍦 Chemistry never tasted so good! After completing their AP exams, students in AP Chemistry and Honors Chemistry II put science into action with a hands-on lab making homemade ice cream. By using salt to lower the freezing point of water, our Lancers explored a real-world chemistry concept in a fun (and delicious) way.
Experiences like these bring classroom learning to life while showing how science connects to everyday experiences

📚 ACP English seniors brought the lessons of Tuesdays with Morrie to life through hands-on activities designed to demonstrate the importance of connection, communication, and relationships.
“Doctor Dodgeball” reminded students to cherish the people who matter most, while the “Human Knot” challenged students to work together and communicate to solve problems. Through these creative activities, our Lancers explored what it means to build strong relationships and live with purpose - lessons that extend far beyond the classroom.
