“How do we know that?”
Throughout the year, students in IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) grapple with that question. They examine ambiguity, uncertainty, and questions with multiple plausible answers, engaging with multiple perspectives to foster open-mindedness and develop intercultural understanding.
As a final assessment, students are required to create an exhibition of three objects with accompanying commentaries that explores how TOK manifests in the world around us.
Presenting these queries to faculty and staff, students discussed how these knowledge questions affect our understanding of technology, language, politics, religion, indigenous societies, and so much more.
"We'll get out in our respective fields and put in the hard work, and we'll work ten times harder when faced with obstacles."
Class of 2026 Valedictorian Valerie Martin's commencement speech highlighted how our newest graduates are ready to take on the world.
