In 1985, Basil Lewis submitted a shoe design to Nike. The company acknowledged receipt and kept it on file. No agreement followed.

If calling Nike a thief is considered slander, then so be it. I said what I said.

But here's the question: Can anyone prove that Tinker Hatfield did not use ideas from the Basil Lewis design that was submitted to Nike—a design Nike acknowledged receiving and stated it would "keep on file"?

The public has never been shown the winning sketch from Nike's reported in-house design competition. Nor has Nike publicly produced the original design sketch for the Air Revolution.

If what I'm saying is false, then the evidence should settle the matter.

Until that evidence is produced, the questions aren't going away.

I would love to hear from one person who saw winning sketch that got him the Nike gig.

Tinker "The Magic Man Hatfield.... Will we ever see the winning sketch that changed Tinker life forever. I'm sure something that significant, is still around..... Somewhere.
