Our Sycamore High School students filled the auditorium during Aves Bell today to learn about College Credit Plus (CCP). A huge thank you to our guest speaker, a CCP advisor from the University of Cincinnati, for sharing how our students can earn college credits right now! 📖

This informative session was organized by one of our counselors, Ms. Harris, and was open to all current high school students. ✏️

A Major Standing Ovation for Dr. Angela Santangelo! 👏

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Director of Orchestras, Dr. Santangelo, has been honored with the 2025 Distinguished Service Award from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM)!

Since joining Sycamore, Dr. Santangelo has been an exceptional music educator who has built one of the state's most high-achieving string programs. 🎻

A few highlights of her career:
✨Expanded student participation at Sycamore by over 230%
✨Led ensembles to consistent Superior ratings at state events
✨Continues to mentor the next generation of educators from CCM and beyond
✨Co-founded the UC Symphony Orchestra, which still thrives 20 years later

Dr. Santangelo’s dedication to her students and the arts community is truly transformative!
