Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts

Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts Excellence in Arts Education Summer programming is open to any intersted students from the Tri-State. Quality instruction without leaving your community.

Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts offers after school programming in performing arts for students K-12 in the Indian Hill and Mariemont school districts. Many students travel miles away from home to train in dance, acting, instrument and vocal instruction. CAPA provides students the opportunity to study performing arts within their community, on school campus and keeps students close to home.

Often private instruction also supports an outside performing arts venue but now a percentage of student’s tuition and fees will go to support teachers in the classroom, becoming a resource that can be passed on to our students! Students now have the opportunity to grow and study performing arts after school in their own comfortable school environment, creating stronger more confident performers inside the classroom and on the stage. "CAPA’s film camp is the real deal: campers brainstorm as storytellers, write a script, film and edit video, and produce a finished short film. My son has participated two summers in a row because he found the experience so rewarding. There’s no other camp like it in our area. Family and friends get to watch the campers’ short films after camp is finished. It’s impressive what these kids dream up and accomplish in a 2-week camp."
