It's a big week at The Resonance Lab!
Not only are we riding high on last week's curricular approval from the state, but we have had so much interest in tours that we are extending our time slots this week!
Here are this week's currently available times:
Wednesday, May 27th: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm
Thursday, May 28th: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm
All you have to do is let us know you're coming so we can make sure someone is there to greet you at the desk! Your wish is basically our command!

We are getting asked A LOT about whether or not opening a microschool is for you. As we live the experience, we have a few thoughts:
Before you open a microschool, ask yourself these 3 questions.
1. Where in your body do you feel this decision?
Not in your head. Not in your planner. In your body. Is it a heck yes — or a heck no? That answer matters more than any business plan you'll ever write.
2. Do you have the skills — or the ability to get them?
You don't have to know everything on day one. But you do have to be honest about what you know, what you don't, and whether you're willing to do the work to close that gap.
3. Is this for the greatest and highest good of all?
Your students. Their families. Your team. Yourself. If the answer is yes across the board, keep reading.
Opening a microschool isn't a hobby or a side project. It's a calling — and it will ask everything of you. The personal transformation is as much a part of the work as the handbook writing, the inspection paperwork, and the enrollment conversations.

For all of our member families, the Blue Ash YMCA pool is open! We can't wait to see you splashing into summer as we prepare to open our doors for you this fall!

🚨We have some BIG news!!! 🚨
The Resonance Lab has met all compliance requirements to become a nonpublic chartered school in the state of Ohio for the 2026-2027 school year, pending our site visit in August! This is a HUGE milestone in TRL history and will allow us to accept EdChoice scholarships this fall.
One of the biggest compliments we received was on our curriculum, called "frameworthy" by our approving entity at the state. We have been working so hard on the intentional cross-curicular vertical and horizontal alignment of our courses. They truly feel like a work of art.

Our founder's heart just burst wide open yesterday during the 5th annual - The Powerversary! 💥 Talk about alignment to TRL's vision:

We didn't get much footage because we were IN 👏 THE 👏 WORK 👏; however here are a few takeaways for the TRL community from the ever-vivacious and tenacious who brought our whole Earth School mission to light in the most articulate way:
1. Always acknowledge the people who hold up lanterns in our story. 🕯For us so far at TRL, this has definitely been our team at , Joy Meserve and .richards . GOSH. The complete blessings of this relationship. We have also walked through the depths with .wellness . Peep her laughter in this Reel. ❤️
2. We will not abdicate responsibility for the role we play in the future of education for our children. (That one was a little bit Jen and a little bit Jess, our founder.)
3. We do this work for every adult who has told us, "We wish this existed when we were kids." We do this work for every child who needs school to be a safe place for them to develop and grow as thriving humans. We do this to heal our inner children and access our highest future selves.

That's how we feel in the middle of two HUGE events at TRL.
Last weekend was Cincy Crunchy Fest with The Crunchy Caravan, which was SO 👏 MUCH 👏 FUN 👏. Tomorrow we are at Power to Pursue at Cincinnati Music Hall and we are STOKED.
Have we been a little busy? Sure. But is it in a way that energetically carries us forward because we're doing what's best for kids? Also true.
We hope to see you tomorrow, Cincinnati! Can't wait to talk to you about what we're building over here!
