We had a great week in Toledo at the HOSA State Leadership Conference! We started with exploring the Science museum, Imagination Station, and a group dinner.. The second day was spent competing and we had a few students participate in the Leadership Academy. We are excited to announce that we had 4 members place top three in their category and are headed to the International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. James Kirby placed first in Family Medicine, Macey Huber placed second in Occupational Therapy, and Ella Price and Ali Strittholt placed second in Forensic Science. Another 3 students placed top ten within their categories! We also had Ella Price, Nicole Zhang, and Carly Shircliff bring home the Gold Emblem School Award for the 4th year in a row. For the first time we also received the HOSA Happenings recognition. We are excited for our trip to Indy in June!!

Today all Biomed students got the opportunity to explore the US Army Medical Trailer. We got to see different supplies they use and the inside of some of their vehicles. Thank you to the recruiters who gave this opportunity.
