SNACC took on Houston 🤠✨
This week at the NSNA Annual Convention, Jasmine, Audrey, Andrea, LeAnna, Ange, and Shamera dove into incredible learning experiences—from mental health in nursing and lactation to wound & ostomy care and interview tips. We had the opportunity to grow professionally through hands-on sessions, including the Career Compass where we connected one-on-one, shared resumes, and got real-world advice for our future careers.
We also earned our Seizure Recognition & First Aid certification—adding even more skills to our nursing toolbox 🩺
Grateful for the knowledge, connections, and memories made along the way. The future of nursing is bright 💙

137 blessing bags.
Countless conversations.
One powerful reminder of why we chose nursing. 🤍
Tonight SNACC partnered with Blessing Bags of Love at 3rd & Vine to distribute hygiene items, feminine products, wound care supplies, socks, emergency blankets, and more to members of our community.
We are proud to serve beyond the classroom and grateful to work alongside such an incredible organization. Community care is healthcare. 💙

SNACC President Jasmine and Programming Director Andrea took over the Indiana Association of Nursing Students Convention at Indiana University! We attended panels on critical care, women’s health, pediatrics, and mental health, got tons of NCLEX tips in a mini session, and heard Nurse Mike from Simple Nursing speak. We also met with two sisters who became nurses and developed a free app to help nurses manage scheduling and work-life balance, plus connected with other nursing students, potential employers, and graduate schools. So much learning, networking, and inspiration packed into one day! Check out Nurse Mike’s new grad membership and catch his FREE live review sessions on YouTube!
