The HBCU Literacy Hub is bringing HBCU Culture Images: A Celebration of Art, Culture & Legacy to the Clifton Cultural Arts Center on March 4–6, 2027!

We’re inviting artists working in all mediums to apply and help us celebrate HBCU culture, education, knowledge and power. Whether you’re an HBCU graduate or an artist inspired by the history and impact of HBCUs, we want to see your vision!

Now it’s time to put that support into action! Join our HBCU Literacy Hub Community Cleanup Day as we pick up litter, pull weeds, trim bushes, and refresh the grounds together.

Yesterday, students from Badin High School Badin High School visited the HBCU Literacy Hub! 📚🎓

They explored HBCUs through activities and conversation, then shared one thing they learned from the visit. We love hearing what stands out to students as they discover new college possibilities.

🎓 A GREAT DAY OF EXPOSURE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE!

Today, the HBCU Literacy Hub had the pleasure of welcoming students from Badin High School for an engaging and educational visit!

Throughout the experience, students explored the HBCU Literacy Hub, learned about the history, culture, legacy, and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, participated in meaningful conversations, and gained greater exposure to the opportunities available through higher education.

We especially enjoyed watching the students ask questions, engage, learn, and experience the space firsthand. These are the moments that remind us why exposure matters.

A special thank you to Ana Martinez and the Badin High School community for your continued collaboration and for providing your students with this experience. We enjoyed having you and look forward to welcoming you back!
