We had a historic moment at the US CoEd office last week! For the first time ever in CoEd history, both chairs of the US Board of Directors and Asociación COED Board were at our office. Our team had a great afternoon spending time with Rolando and Carlos and look forward to their continued leadership with CoEd!

In August, Rise students came to our San Lucas office for a vocational workshop to explore their professional and educational futures! This was an opportunity for students to brainstorm what dreams they'd like to work towards while receiving career advice from a panel of working professionals.

We're excited to see what kinds of futures these bright, young students create! 🎓

This summer, we began exciting pilots of initiatives that combine the efforts of our Rise and Technology teams. As part of these pilots, we held a workshop in the Technology Innovation Lab at our San Lucas office for 36 Rise students from Santo Tomás, Santa Lucía, Magdalena, Santiago, Santa María Cauqué, and San Bartolo. There, students learned about building technology skills for professional development through exercises with different digital platforms.

En agosto, más de 200 estudiantes del Programa Rise Desarrollo Juvenil y Becas exploraron opciones de educación superior, becas y empleo como parte de nuestros Talleres de Orientación Vocacional. A pocos meses de graduarse, pudieron conversar directamente con universidades y empresas, resolver dudas y acceder a información concreta para tomar decisiones sobre sus próximos pasos académicos y profesionales.

Gracias a Universidad Mesoamericana, Universidad del Istmo, Universidad Rafael Landívar, CEMACO y Megapaca por abrir este espacio y acercar nuevas oportunidades a los estudiantes.

In August, more than 200 Rise students explored higher education, scholarship, and employment opportunities as part of our Career Guidance Workshops. Just months away from graduation, they spoke directly with universities and employers, asked questions, and gained practical information to make informed decisions about their next academic and professional steps.

Thank you to Universidad Mesoamericana, Universidad del Istmo, Universidad Rafael Landívar, CEMACO and Megapaca for opening this space and bringing new opportunities closer to our students.
