The first Parent Night of the 2026-27 school year was a big success! Some 12 families were in attendance and got a chance to meet our outstanding team members and to familiarize themselves with how we service our students!

“It's simply not enough to just show up and do your work. Superior performance is not, never has been, nor will it ever be, the by-product of ordinary efforts.” — Gary Ryan Blair

Learn more about our federal holiday, Juneteenth, officially known as Juneteenth National Independence Day. It is celebrated annually to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.

Juneteenth is an often overlooked event in our nation’s history. On June 19, 1865, Union troops freed enslaved African Americans in Galveston Bay and across Texas some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
