This Spring, Xavier was officially recognized as an accredited arboretum, thanks in large part to the dedication and hard work of Karen McCabe. As the lead horticulturalist for Physical Plant, McCabe mapped and identified the expansive variety of trees and plants that call Xavier’s campus home in order to secure accreditation.

As we honor all fallen heroes who served and sacrificed, we remember the Musketeers who gave their lives for our country.

The Shrine of Our Lady, Queen of Victory and Peace, was dedicated in 1943 in honor of those who have served in the armed forces, especially those who died in service. It has been periodically updated since its construction to add the names of the fallen.
