πΏβ¨ Throwback Thursday to our last Garden Club meeting! β¨πΏ
Each of the kids created their own pollinator house to take home using recycled juice containers filled with moss, sticks, rocks, straw, and bark to help attract pollinators to their gardens. ππΌ
They also worked together to paint and decorate a pollinator house for our school gardens! ππΈ
We celebrated with special treats β cupcakes and yogurt parfaits made by Lainey and her grandma, plus seed packet cookies for each child! π±πͺ
To finish the day, every child βgraduatedβ from Garden Club and received a certificate of completion. We are so proud of all they learned and the love they showed for nature and gardening this year! ππ»

School might be out for the summer, but outdoor adventures are officially in full swing! Whether your little ones are playing in the backyard, exploring local parks, or heading out on family hikes, itβs prime time for some seasonal safety awareness.
Tick season is at its peak during these warm summer months. Making a quick βTick Checkβa daily habit after outdoor play is one of the easiest ways to keep your kiddos safe and healthy all summer long!
To help turn a safety chore into a fun summer routine, check out this catchy βTick Check Tongue Twister" song on Apple Music. Sing along and turn it into a game before bath time! πΆ
π Listen here: https://music.apple.com/us/album/tick-check-tongue-twister/1741431334?i=1741431337
π Quick Summer Tick Check Tips:
β¨Target the Hiding Spots:
Check behind ears, in hair and scalps, under arms, behind knees, and around waistbands.
β¨The 10-Minute Rule:Toss play clothes straight into the dryer on high heat for 10 minutes to kill any hitchhiking ticks.
β¨Make it a Game:See who can master the tongue twister fastest while you do a quick scan!
Have a wonderful, safe, and sun-filled summer, Shiloh families! βοΈ

ππ¦ΈββοΈπ¦ΈββοΈ Our little superheroes are ready to soar!
Thursday we celebrated the incredible Shiloh Preschool Class of 2026 with a graduation full of courage, kindness, laughter, and love. Throughout the year, these students have shown us that superheroes donβt always wear capes β sometimes they wear backpacks, rain boots, or paint-covered smocks. π
One of the most special moments of the evening was the presentation of our graduation quilt, lovingly created alongside our amazing sewing ladies and students. Each stitch represents memories, growth, friendship, and the unique gifts every child brought to our Shiloh family. What a beautiful reminder that we are all connected and stronger together. πͺ‘π§΅β¨
To our graduates: keep being brave, curious, compassionate, and wonderfully YOU. The world needs your superpowers!
A huge thank you to our teachers, families, volunteers, and sewing ladies who helped make this celebration unforgettable. β€οΈ

We are incredibly honored to share that Shiloh Preschool has officially earned the Ohio Healthy Program Designation from the Ohio Department of Health! π₯ππ±
While one name may appear on the certificate, this recognition truly belongs to our entire team β especially Ms. Kathy, our certified health coach, and all of our teachers who intentionally create conversations around healthy choices every single day.
Together, they developed our simple but powerful approach to trying new foods:
π Touch it.
π Smell it.
π Lick it.
π Taste it.
And it is WORKING! π
We now have students who get a pep in their step when peppers are on the snack menu πΆοΈ and children are now requesting hard boiled eggs at home every day! π₯ These moments remind us that healthy habits begin with patience, encouragement, and positive experiences.
We are so proud of the culture our staff, students, and families have built together and grateful to be recognized as an Ohio Healthy Program through the Ohio Department of Health.
Congratulations everyone! π

π₯π± Make your own Salad Bar π±π₯
The students harvested fresh lettuce right from our playground garden and enjoyed a salad bar filled with many of the vegetables weβve explored and tasted throughout the school year. From planting and growing to washing and serving, this was such a meaningful hands-on learning experience!
The children served themselves, practiced making healthy choices, and we read a story all about how lettuce grows. ππΏ
One of the sweetest moments of the day was watching a student who has always refused salad bravely try a few bites! Moments like these remind us that exposure, encouragement, and community can make such a difference. π
We are so proud of our little gardeners and all theyβve learned this year!

Our MWF students had such a fun and meaningful real-life learning experience at North Side Bank & Trustπ°π¦ Shout out to the Parker- OβLeary family for organizing everything for us!
The students practiced crossing two crosswalks safely, learning that an orange hand means STOP β and a white person means GO πΆββοΈ. We are so proud of how well they listened and followed directions!
Inside the bank, they made pretend deposits, sent receipts through the pneumatic tubes, and of course loved getting suckers sent back to them! π The highlight may have been hearing what everyone would keep in their safe deposit boxes β everything from diamonds π and emeralds to Grave Digger shoes π made the list!
A huge thank you to Northside Bank & Trust for welcoming us and creating such a fun, hands-on learning experience for our students. We are also incredibly grateful for all of our volunteers who helped keep everyone safe along the way. β€οΈ

Our TuesdayβThursday students had a wonderful adventure today on their field trip to North Side Bank & Trust π¦β¨
Our students did an amazing job navigating two crosswalks safely and responsibly on the way there. Once inside the bank, they got a hands-on learning experience by making a deposit, sending their receipt through the tubes, and even receiving a sucker back ππ
The children also explored safe deposit boxes and went home with a special goody bag and their very own piggy bank to continue learning about saving and responsibility. π·π°
A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers and to the Parker-OβLeary family for arranging such a meaningful and memorable field trip for our students. We are so grateful for community experiences that help learning come to life!
