Maybe we should change this camp’s name to “River Rats” 🦦?! We had a blast with our river camp crew this year- so much to explore and learn about! The camper’s citizenship skills were top notch, and I was continuously impressed by their resilience and stamina. We had many innovative and passionate discussions about river health and wildlife, the human impacts on the ecosystem and how we can become invested in being the change we want to see. Part wilderness skills, part ecological learning, part experiential exploration to develop a love of all things river bank - this was another one for the books! 💦💧🐸🐢🐍🦐🦪♻️✌️❤️🌎 See you all at winter camp!

1) GREEN STEAM; Explore the LEED-platinum, nature-inspired school campus and investigate how green design practices interact with energy, water, waste, recycling and green infrastructure. Discover green technologies through experiential lessons, crafts, games and projects.
2) Pollinator Picnic; Learn all about the importance of pollinators and how they make the world a better place through crafts, games, music and exploring in the new Bethany Children’s Pollinator Garden! Also on the picnic menu: building a bug hotel and bat houses!
