We want to start by thanking the City of Cheviot for hosting the Westside Market in Downtown Cheviot for the past 4 years. We are very grateful for your support and believing in us.
We started this market to help grow small businesses and that's what we've done! When we started the market, we averaged about 50 vendors each month. But this past year we averaged over 80-100 vendors at every event. With COVID restrictions and the number of vendors we have, we have officially outgrown the city parking lot.
After much consideration, we have decided to move the market to Westwood Town Hall starting May 7th.
Westwood Town Hall will offer much-needed grassy areas, indoor bathrooms, indoor event space, a fenced-in playground, a dog park with fresh water and electricity.
Not only is this helpful to market vendors and shoppers, but it will also bring more foot traffic to Westwood store fronts that are open during market hours and support their growth as well.
This decision was not taken lightly, but we feel it will best support the growth of the market, the community and its vendors.
We thank everyone for your continued support over the years and look forward to a successful 2022 with you. Summer applications will be LIVE March 1st, on our website.
