Save the date for the 2026 Pilot Research Project Symposium on October 8-9, 2026! The event will be held at the University of Cincinnati Kettering Lab Complex. The symposium focuses on presentations from various research areas related to occupational safety and health.
October 8th will include the undergraduate careers workshop, an IH ethics course, and a welcome reception with dinner provided.
October 9th will include a keynote presentation, presentations from the 2025-26 PRP award recipients, and posters from the 2026-27 PRP award recipients and others.

The University of Cincinnati ERC recently visited the Johnson & Johnson Ethicon facility for an interdisciplinary tour with students, staff, and faculty.
Participants explored research and development labs, robotics and 3D printing centers, pilot testing areas, training labs, and onsite health clinics.
This visit provided insight into how collaboration across healthcare, engineering, and safety supports development of innovative technologies that protect workers and patients. 🧪🥼🤖🔬

hosted the 2026 Midwest Regional ERC Symposium in Ann Arbor, bringing together students, faculty, and professionals from several universities and industries. The symposium focused on the past, present, and future of occupational safety and health with emerging challenges and innovations.
Attendees were also able to tour the Ford Rouge Factory, which showed modern manufacturing, safety practices, and sustainability in action.
