So our day in York started out a little rainy but the clouds cleared out and made for another beautiful day in the UK. York Minster…a cathedral like no other followed by lunch in the Shambles, fat rascals, the Golden Fleece and a concert at St. Helen with so many guests giving the boys another standing room only concert experience.

Leaving London so a final farewell including pics from all the musicals taken in by the group in Piccadilly Circus. We love music and have a deep appreciation for musical theatre so many of us found a show of our choosing in London’s Times Square. The whole group took in Hercules but the others were must see shows for some of us…
Then headed north to Oxford where we visited Christ Church Cathedral, saw the Oxford University students in their gowns taking their final exams…followed by a Harry Potter tour which included many sights where the filming took place.

Concert # 2 and this was pretty special. It’s not often, you get to travel 4,000 miles away from home and get to perform with another choir in their community. Beckenham was the place and a Member of Parliament (last photo) attended the concert and spoke afterwards…thanking the glee club and kids of Beckenham for putting on a “brilliant performance.”
