It’s so powerful to have sophomores and juniors studying at OSU and CCM come together to take class, they say it’s like coming home 🏠.
The first day of our Dance Summer Program was a success!
Students spent the day building skills, exploring movement, and connecting with fellow dancers in a fun and supportive environment. We can’t wait to see their growth, creativity, and confidence continue to shine throughout the summer.

🎉 Happy Retirement, Mr. Michael D. Owens! 🎉
Today, we celebrate and thank Mr. Michael D. Owens for 10 years of dedicated leadership as principal of SCPA.
As both an alumnus and principal, Mr. Owens has devoted much of his life to the SCPA community. His commitment to students, artistic excellence, and educational opportunity has helped shape generations of young artists and scholars.
As he begins this next chapter, we leave you with his final words to the SCPA community:
"We are here for kids."

Last week, SCPA tenth graders visited the Taft Museum of Art to explore connections between art and ethics through guided discussions and exhibitions. 🎨✨ After the museum experience, students spent time together at Sawyer Point, making memories along the riverfront. 🌇
