Philanthropy Spotlight with cincytheta & National CASA / GAL Association for Children !!! 🤍👯‍♀️

Kappa Alpha Theta proudly supports the National CASA/GAL Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for children in the foster care system by ensuring they have a consistent, trained adult voice in court. This mission is reflected throughout the chapter through philanthropy events like our grilled cheese fundraiser and other initiatives that raise both funds and awareness while engaging the campus community. In addition to our national partnership, members actively volunteer with ProKids, a local organization affiliated with CASA that serves children in the Cincinnati foster care system, allowing us to make a direct impact within our own community.

Throughout the year, these efforts bring members together around a shared purpose of supporting vulnerable children and strengthening our local community. What makes Theta’s philanthropy so meaningful is the chapter’s genuine passion for advocating for children who may not have consistent support systems and helping ensure their voices are heard. Seeing the impact of our work through ProKids reinforces the importance of giving back and inspires members to remain involved in creating meaningful, lasting change for children who deserve stability, encouragement, and hope.

This year, 56 members of our Panhellenic community are serving as Rho Gammas, helping guide PNMs through the formal recruitment process. As Recruitment Guides, they are here to provide support, answer questions, and help make recruitment a positive experience.

Rho Gammas play an important role in helping PNMs navigate recruitment while discovering the opportunities for sisterhood, leadership, and involvement within our community.

They are excited to welcome their groups and meet their PNMs at PNM Convocation on August 16th! ✨🪽

Pride Month is observed in various countries around the world in the month of June to celebrate and honor the LGBTQ+ community, promote equality, and recognize the journey towards worldwide acceptance.

This month we honor the brave individuals who have fought, and continue to fight for equality, safety, and acceptance.

Panhellenic stands for inclusion, love, and the right for everyone to live authentically.

The 2026 Cincinnati Pride Parade & Festival will take place on June 27th, a vibrant celebration of unity and diversity! 🏳️‍🌈

Kappa Kappa Gamma Beta Rho proudly supports The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the mental health and well-being of teens and young adults. Mental health awareness is deeply woven into the chapter through meaningful events like Dog Night, Flower Sale, and Kappa Kares Week - all created to foster connection, compassion, and support both within the chapter and throughout the UC community.

Throughout Kappa Kares Week, members hosted events centered around wellness and community, including a Body Alive class with Panhellenic chapters, self-care activities with mental health resources and goodies, and Blondie Brews on campus to bring people together. What makes Kappa’s philanthropy so impactful is the chapter’s genuine passion for reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
