What’s up, Storytellers?!

We’re still buzzing from the energy of our recent typewriter event with at WordPlay. The parking lot felt warm, intentional, and full of stories.

From the sound of keys hitting paper to the conversations in between, there was so much soul in the air.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared space, and poured into the moment. Your support and your generosity helped us raise funds for our upcoming summer programming, and that means everything to us.

What’s up Storytellers!? We just want to give a huge shout out to , an amazing Teaching Artist and Award winning poet, for working with our youth on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your passion for empowering young voices is truly appreciated!

Meet .malan — a poet, author, creative force, and pure explosive energy. After attending our Teaching Artist training, Makiah has been bringing WordPlay to life by building programs and hosting her own open mic nights at WordPlay Cincy. Attend her next event March 21st, starting at 5pm.

What’s up Storytellers?! We just want to extend our Gratitude to .malan for hosting a wonderful poetry open mic over here . It was beautiful to see and hear so many stories in our building last night. We also loved to see the collective contributing to our community art wall.
