Upper School winning homeroom: Mr. Mittermeier’s homeroom — 636 books

Sophie Arengo served as the Master of Service. Meredith Henderson, Joshua Ricks, and Colton Naegel served as Secretaries and Undersecretaries of Service.

Citadel Carcassonne’s Service Committee sought to initiate a service project that would complement CLASSICAL’s educational philosophy and commitment to the liberal arts. Through their own efforts, and largely without direct guidance, the students handled all planning and communication with outside organizations. They partnered with Queen City Book Bank to promote childhood literacy and a love of reading for its own sake, especially among local underserved populations who might not otherwise have access to books of their own.

Thank you to all who contributed to this service project!
