✨ AAC Made: Aaron Broughton, '16

Third-generation artist. Printmaker. Graphic designer. And part of an AAC alumni connection that keeps going.

Aaron Broughton (AAC ’16) came to AAC knowing he wanted a life in the arts. What he discovered along the way was a love for apparel + screen printing.

During his second year, Aaron interned with DIY Printing, founded by fellow AAC alum Aaron Kent (AAC ’09), gaining professional experience just steps from campus in Over-the-Rhine.

Today, Aaron is a graphic designer at The Point/Arc, bringing together printmaking, design, and purpose in work that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

And those AAC connections? More than a decade later, Aaron is still in touch with his classmates. 🧡

What started in the AAC print studio continues to evolve.

We had a great weekend at the Cincinnati Art Book Fair! 📗📔📘

Writers, artists, and creatives from Cincinnati and beyond met at the Carnegie last weekend for the Cincinnati Art Book Fair. Our students had the opportunity to sell their creative work, get inspired, and connect with other artists.

Thank you to everyone that visited our table, we can’t wait for next year! Thanks Cincinnati Art Book Fair !

📣 From the studio to billboards across Ohio. 🧡

Senior Design student Autumn Fletcher’s work is reaching audiences across the state after her design was selected by Kisling, Nestico & Redick for a statewide distracted driving campaign.

Her work is a powerful example of what design can do: capture attention, communicate an idea, and make an impact beyond the studio.

We’re proud to see Autumn’s work out in the world and reaching thousands of drivers across Ohio.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for the opening of Portals of Remembrance by Cincinnati-based artist Trudy Gaba.

It was an incredible evening of art, conversation, and connection as guests experienced Gaba’s mixed media work, which brings Black ancestral archives into conversation with the present through historic photographs, family materials, and collage.

A special thank you to Marca Stubblefield for sharing delicious Liberian food with our guests and helping make the opening such a memorable evening. We’re honored to host Trudy’s work in the Pearlman & McClure Galleries.
