As the holiday season approaches, we want to make sure our families are aware of **community resources available for Christmas assistance and winter coats.**

❤️ **Christmas Assistance**
Families may be able to receive holiday gifts and other seasonal support through local organizations and community programs.

🧥 **Winter Coat Assistance**
Several organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati provide **free winter coats and cold-weather items** for children and families who qualify.

• **St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati** – Christmas gift assistance and winter coat programs
• **Operation Give Back** – Holiday assistance and winter coat giveaways
• **United Way of Greater Cincinnati** – Holiday family assistance opportunities

We had another great Parent-Teacher Help Night at Ethel M. Taylor Junior High School. Special shout-out to our Principal Nathaniel G. Snow, our School Resource Coordinator Dee Daniels, and our amazing staff for leading such a great event. Over 150 parents attended. Our Latino students were served authentic empanadas today, a taste of home, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. During conferences, our Ethel M. Taylor families enjoyed Latino treats to promote inclusiveness and celebrate Latino culture in our schoolwide community. I want to shout out our Resource Coordinator, Dee Daniels, for the Hawk Nest, an Excellent display of how Ethel M. Taylor connects with and serves all kids and families and meets their needs. Every family who attended was able to leave home with fresh groceries from Kroger's. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors: Kroger's, Tortilla Garcia, Zona VIP, Chuy's, CPS Kid Future, Snow Covered Angels, and Delicias Supermarket.
