I'd be more excited over the DJIA record if 47/50 state pensions were not underfunded & $38T in national debt.

The crisis of underfunded state pensions continues to grow but few give it a second thought.

More than 34 million Americans are enrolled in state pension funds and most are feeling secure about their financial future. Yet, 47 of the 50 states have massively underfunded pensions led by Illinois where only 49 cents on the dollar is covered.

As if the ticking time bomb of underfunded social security (which erupts in just seven years) we also need to worry about state mismanagement over the pension funds. Only South Dakota, Washington, and Tennessee have 100% funding for their state pension plans.

One of the reasons I learned to flip stocks for gains was to provide a revenue stream I can count on. These days there are far too many unknowns with the future ahead...

I learned 30 years ago that flipping stocks for quick gains was a far faster way to grow my portfolio than the typical "Buy, Hold, and Pray" approach.

Seeing my portfolio up 143% in the last six months speaks to that quite well and certainly explains why my Day Trading students are making the money they are!

You can do or teach - or in my case both.

The Day Trade Fun trading performance over the last three months is 83%. Compare that to the markets:

S&P 500 - 7% increase
NASDAQ - 8% increase
DOW - 8% increase
Day Trade Fun - 83% increase in three months
