💛 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 💛

This September, let’s GO GOLD and take ACTION by supporting two children in the Dulles family while helping fund desperately needed pediatric brain cancer research through The Cure Starts Now.

Two Dulles teachers have children who have faced the same rare pediatric brain cancer—ependymoma. Mrs. Thomas’ son, Wyatt, was diagnosed at just 4 years old, and now our Dulles community is also rallying around Mrs. Cartwright’s son, Sean, who was recently diagnosed with ependymoma.

With only about 200 children in the United States diagnosed with ependymoma each year, having two children within our Dulles community face the same rare brain cancer is especially striking.

Let’s rally around Wyatt and Sean and show these boys and their families just how much love and support the Dulles community has behind them. 💛

If you are able, please join us at either event below, donate, or simply share to help fund pediatric brain cancer research in Wyatt and Sean’s honor.
