School House Symphony

School House Symphony played our 214th and final show of our 2025-2026 season!
We all love our job and are looking forward to resuming shows in the fall after a bit of well deserved rest.

Today SHS performed our 212th and 213th shows of our season!
We will close out our 49th season this coming Wednesday.
That’s a lot of shows but we are still having fun, love our work and playing for the kids!

A big thanks to the Charles H. Dater Foundation and the Louise Dieterle Nippert Musical Arts Fund for making these shows possible!

Today’s topics were American music, using music to tell stories, and the instruments and instrument families.

School House Symphony has the week off for our spring break!
With over 200 performances this school year it’s nice to get a chance to recharge our batteries.

It was a typical week for SHS, 9 shows at 6 different schools. Over the course of our season this will add up to around 225 in-school concerts!
