Show Your Support ❤️
Our Bridgetown Middle School and Oak Hills community has always shown what it means to come together and support one another during difficult times. Right now, our beloved BMS ELA teacher, Mrs. Gerrety, and her family could use that support more than ever as they face unimaginable challenges.
After the tragic loss of their young son last year, Mrs. Gerrety’s family is now facing another heartbreaking battle after her husband was diagnosed with a fast-growing malignant brain tumor. While surgery was successful, they are now navigating ongoing medical bills, experimental treatment costs, travel expenses, and the financial burden that comes with trying to make the most of every precious moment together as a family.
To help support Mrs. Gerrety and her family during this incredibly difficult time, shirts are available to order using the link below, and donations can also be made if you would simply like to help. Every order, share, prayer, and donation truly makes a difference and reminds the Gerrety family they are surrounded by love and support. ❤️
We will let everyone know as soon as the shirts arrive and are ready for pickup/distribution. Thank you all for continuing to show the strength, compassion, and heart of our Oak Hills family.

What a wonderful way to close out the 2025–2026 PTA year at Bridgetown Middle School PTA tonight! ❤️🖤
The evening was filled with laughter, memories, gratitude, and a few bittersweet goodbyes as we celebrated the incredible parents and volunteers who give so much of their time, talents, and heart to support our students and school community. Every volunteer helps make a difference, and our school is stronger because of each and every person who steps up to help. ❤️🖤
Tonight, we were especially proud to recognize Alison Dickerson and Sara Westrich with the prestigious Ohio PTA Friend of Children Award for the lasting impact they’ve made in the lives of children at Bridgetown Middle School. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment have gone truly above and beyond, and our school community is better because of them. ❤️🖤
While our kids may have first brought us together, the friendships, teamwork, and shared love for our school created a community we’re incredibly grateful for.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to have you join us! Whether you can give a little time or a lot, there’s a place for everyone in our PTA family. 😊❤️🖤
