Westwood United Methodist Church Preschool - Where Every Child Is A Blessing Special activities are planned on a regular basis: i.e.

At Westwood United Methodist Church Preschool we are aware that a child's capacity to learn is at its greatest during the pre-elementary school years. A positive first school experience provides fundamental mental, social, physical, and moral skills, and a receptive attitude to learning opportunities in the future. Less obvious, but even more important, is the development of healthy feelings that establish a postitive self-image. We feel that this is best nurtured in the caring, Christian atmosphere that you will notice when you visit our school. The child's hours are well planned within a daily routine flexible enough to meet individual needs and situations. art, music, Chapel, drama, Spanish, gymnastics, and guests including firefighters, the zoo, Cool Critters and the Cincinnati Museum Center. Be assured that all of the Ohio Dept. of Education Early Learning Content Standards are being taught. Your child will be well prepared for the KRA-L (Kindergarten Readiness Assessment-Literacy).
