Beth and Louis Guttman are making sure Jewish camp and Jewish day school are never out of reach for a Cincinnati kid.

They've always supported Cincinnati's Jewish community. And when they learned just how critical school and camp are in predicting a strong connection to Jewish life as an adult, they decided to help expand access to those opportunities.

The Guttmans created an endowment fund to give more kids the chance to attend Rockwern Academy and Camp Livingston, for years to come.

“We want to invest in these institutions that we think provide immersive Jewish experiences that help develop Jewish pride," they said.

Meet the newest member of the Rockwern community: Marvie! 🐰💙

The big reveal happened at Shabbat Shirah today. In this week’s Torah portion, we are reminded of the importance of caring for animals and noticing the world around us so we can respond with care.

When our friends at Camp Livingston needed a place for Marvie to stay during the school year, we said, “We’ve got you.”

Now, our middle school students will care for Marvie - learning that being part of a community means noticing, taking responsibility, and showing up.

A new school year, and The Curiosity Center has a fresh new layout! Thanks to our new STEAM teacher, Noah, it's ready to spark creativity and give students more room to imagine, experiment, and discover.

While this is just one space in our building, we're looking forward to a new year with that energy throughout our hallways. Welcome back, Lions.

There was a lot of excitement in the music room earlier this week as students helped unbox new xylophones! We’re so thankful for the generous donation that made this possible and for the opportunity to continue growing creativity and joy through music. 🎶🎉

Yesterday, our pre-k students made it "official" at Kindergarten Signing Day! Families joined us as our future kindergartners signed on for their next big adventure. There were oversized pencils and big smiles all around.

Last night was our annual K-8 musical and art show. Students took the stage for Winnie the Pooh Kids and shared their colorful projects with family and friends. We're inspired by the passion our students have for the arts, and grateful to their families and our staff for supporting their vision.

Students celebrated both Yom HaAtzma'ut (Israel Independence Day) and Maccabiah (field day) on Wednesday. The orange team took home the win, and the day was filled with nonstop energy. It’s always a blast to see the teams show such heart and camaraderie.
