There was a lot of excitement in the music room earlier this week as students helped unbox new xylophones! We’re so thankful for the generous donation that made this possible and for the opportunity to continue growing creativity and joy through music. 🎶🎉

Last night was our annual K-8 musical and art show. Students took the stage for Winnie the Pooh Kids and shared their colorful projects with family and friends. We're inspired by the passion our students have for the arts, and grateful to their families and our staff for supporting their vision.

This morning, our fourth graders hosted family and friends for their annual Freedom Program, showcasing their learning through pictures, writing, and even a pop quiz(!).
And at the end? A flash mob performance of “I Want It That Way,” cleverly rewritten to tell the story of the Israelites’ escape from Egypt.
This program is always meaningful, exploring freedom through both the Exodus and slavery in America, but watching the students proudly lead the experience was the best part of all.

During their Professional Development Day yesterday, our ECEC staff visited Learning Grove to observe classrooms and study how thoughtful environments support young children’s learning, behavior, and well-being.
Experiences like this help our educators continue refining their practice so every child learns in spaces that are supportive and designed for success.

Rockwern Alive! lit up the night on Saturday at the American Sign Museum. From the vintage neon to the laughter and joy, it was a beautiful reminder of our community and what we build together.
We were especially proud to honor James, Junior, and Rebecca, and continue to be appreciative of the light they bring to our school.
Our deepest gratitude to our Platinum and Diamond sponsors whose generosity makes evenings like this possible: Marcie & Nathan Bachrach, Jonathan & Lisa Bernstein, the Kim & Gary Heiman Family Foundation, The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati, the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, and Nina & Edward Paul.
