The halls are getting ready to come alive again, and we’re excited to welcome our Finneytown staff back for a new school year! 🎉📚

But we have one very important question… Are they excited to be back? 👀

Get ready, Finneytown! The countdown to another great year is officially on. We’ll see you soon, Wildcats! 🐾💙

🏗️🐾 Built for Wildcats: Construction Update!

The new Finneytown campus continues to take shape, with progress happening throughout the building! Right now, crews are working on the Student Activity Wing block, while the Academic Wing is seeing overhead mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, low-voltage installation, exterior spray foam, painting, chilled beams, ceiling grid and exterior brick. Site work, windows and Activity Wing block fill are also underway.

Looking ahead, the next phase of work will include Academic Wing casework, conditioning, sidewalks and Academic Wing flooring. 📚🔨

With each phase, we’re getting closer to a campus designed with our Wildcats in mind - a place built for learning, connection, and the future of Finneytown! 🐾💙

🎓🐾 Finneytown Students Celebrate Outstanding AP Exam Results!

Finneytown students have once again demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence, earning outstanding results on this year’s Advanced Placement (AP) exams. 📚✨

Of the 109 Finneytown students who took AP exams, 70% earned a passing score - a tremendous accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers. 👏

We are especially proud to celebrate the students who earned College Board AP Scholar recognition:

🏅 9 students earned the designation of AP Scholar
🌟 4 students earned AP Scholar with Honor
🏆 4 students earned AP Scholar with Distinction

Congratulations to all of our Finneytown students on their outstanding accomplishments! 🎉 We also extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated AP teachers, whose expertise, encouragement, and support help our students reach their full potential.

This is Wildcat excellence in action! 🐾💙

🐾💙 Welcome, Class of 2039!

Finneytown’s annual Kindergarten Camp was a wonderful way to welcome our newest Wildcats and their families to the Finneytown family! From exploring their new school to getting a first taste of what it means to be a Wildcat, our incoming kindergarteners had a great time getting ready for the year ahead. 🎓✨

And there’s no missing the newest members of the pack! Each student received a yard sign proudly proclaiming “Home of a Kindergarten Finneytown Wildcat,” while this year’s camp shirts, sponsored by the Finneytown Alumni Network, gave our newest Wildcats another title to wear proudly: Future Alum! 💙🐾

We’re so excited to welcome the Class of 2039 to Finneytown! The journey starts here, and we can’t wait to see all that this class will accomplish.

From August 7-9, 2026, qualifying back-to-school items can be purchased without sales tax, including clothing, school supplies, and instructional materials.

During the holiday, eligible items include:

✔️ School supplies priced at $20 or less per item
✔️ School instructional materials priced at $20 or less per item
