Saying goodbye to the kids we’ve watched grow from infants is one of the hardest parts of being a childcare worker.

People don’t often talk about how deep our bonds are with these children or how much we truly love and care for them as if they were our own. I’ll be honest, this is the part of the journey I struggle with the most. My heart aches, but I know they’ll go on to do amazing things.

To the parents: thank you for trusting us with your babies and allowing us to be part of your community. It’s been a privilege to see them learn, laugh, play, and grow.

We’ll never forget them.🥺💛

My little fishies and Baby Shark had a FIN-tastic day! 🐠🦈🌊

Today our little ocean explorers began learning all about the amazing creatures that live beneath the waves! We had so much fun playing our “Feed the Shark” game, which helped build fine motor skills while practicing colors, numbers, and turn-taking.

This week, we’re also focusing on an important life lesson, just like the sea creatures, we are all different and that’s what makes each of us special! From tiny seahorses to giant whales, every ocean animal has unique qualities, just as every child brings something wonderful to our playhouse! This is one of my favorite themes! 🌊🐠🦀🐙🐬

When is the next full moon?

The Full Buck Moon will be full on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. It’s called the Buck Moon because this is the time of year when deer grow new antlers.
