I’m proud to share that I have earned my Ohio PROMISE Professional Credential – Level 3 ADVANCED!

But what exactly does that mean?

The Ohio PROMISE Professional Credential focuses on inclusion and supporting young children with disabilities and their families in early childhood programs.

I progressed through:
⭐ Level 1 – Aware
⭐ Level 2 – Knowledgeable
⭐ Level 3 – ADVANCED

Level 3 represents an advanced level of knowledge and implementation of inclusive practices in early care and education.

This training has strengthened my ability to:

✨ Create an inclusive learning environment where ALL children can participate

✨ Recognize and respond to individual developmental needs

✨ Adapt activities, routines and learning environments when needed

⚘️GIVING MYSELF FLOWERS THIS MORNING🪻

Sometimes you have to stop being humble for a look back at EVERYTHING you’ve accomplished, and give YOURSELF some flowers!

I’ve only been in the childcare field for 8 YEARS, but baby… I’ve been BUSY!

What started with me opening my family childcare program has grown into something I am extremely proud of — Lynn’s Loving Hands Family Childcare and Preschool! ❤️

In just 8 years, I have:

✨ Become a Licensed Ohio Type A Family Child Care Provider

⭐ Earned and maintained a GOLD rating through Step Up To Quality

🎓 Earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

🤝 Serve as a DCY Mentor

💼 Completed multiple Business Trainings

💼 A member of NAEYC and the African American Chamber of Commerce

🏆 Had my program recognized as Preschool of the Month!

🎓 Earned my Ohio PROMISE Inclusion Credential — Level 1

🎉 And NOW I can officially add Ohio PROMISE Inclusion Credential — LEVEL 2 to the list! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

📚 Completed 399+ hours of professional training because I believe you NEVER stop learning!

🎓 And another accomplishment I'm EXTREMELY proud of — becoming a CDA Professional Development (PD) Specialist! 👏🏾👏🏾

That means I've gone from earning my own CDA to being in a position to support and assess other early childhood professionals as they work toward earning THEIRS! Now THAT is what you call GROWTH! 💯🎓

I have built a preschool program where children aren't just being “watched.” We are LEARNING! Reading, writing, early math, fine-motor development, social-emotional learning, independence, hands-on activities, assessments, dramatic play, field trips, and experiences that help prepare my babies for KINDERGARTEN and beyond!

The Grocery Mart added a new "snacks and drinks" machine! Lynn Burnam Hardy

It helps with:

Fine motor skills – pushing buttons, turning k***s, and retrieving items.

Letter recognition – matching the A–F buttons with the snack choices.

Cause and effect – “When I press this button, something happens.”

Decision-making – choosing which snack or drink they want.

Early math and money concepts – pretending to buy items, count money, or talk about prices.

Real-world connections – recreating something they may see at stores, restaurants, or other community places.

👟 All About Me – Design Your Own Sneaker!

Today the kids created their very own sneakers, and we practiced how to lace our shoes!

This fun hands-on activity helps build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and independence—all while letting their personalities shine through their designs!

Today, the children explored Pointillism, an art technique that uses dots of color to create a picture.

The children were given four colors to share as they created their own unique masterpiece!

This activity was about more than making beautiful art—it encouraged fine motor skills, sharing, patience, creativity, and self-expression. ❤️

Yesterday, the kids got to show off their creativity by designing their very own shirts! They used yarn to add “buttons” and created their own unique designs.

I love activities like this because there’s no right or wrong way to create—each shirt was as unique as the little designer who made it! ❤️✂️🧶
