🐴 Last chance to join our Horse Fun! spring classes — starting next week!

Designed for ages 4–7, Horse Fun! is a drop-off class — a great opportunity for kids to gain some independence while having a blast with horses!

Children will learn about horse colors, markings, and body parts through fun, hands-on activities. Each class includes time to interact with our horses Luke, Sketti, and Mac!

Kids will also enjoy playful learning experiences like:
🌾 The Barn Buddy Chore Course (carrying hay, scooping "grain," and cleaning a "stall")
🐎 A mini trail challenge built just for kids
🏆 And the second class wraps up with the chance to ride a trail course on our favorite palomino!

Each program runs for two sessions — choose what works best for your family:
📅 Mondays: April 20 & 27 | 1:00–2:30pm or
📅 Saturdays: April 25 & May 2 | 10:30am–12:00pm
Classes take place at Woody End Farm near Harrison, Ohio.

The kids in our Farm Play class are having a great time with the chicks! Today the chicks were eating out of their hands. And the kids couldn't believe how much the chicks have grown in just a week!

The chicks arrived today! Our raised bed is almost ready for the kids to help us plant our first vegetables at the farm. And the horses always look forward to visitors.

🌱✨ New Session Starts Next Week! ✨🌱

The weather is beginning to warm, and before we know it, the first signs of spring will be popping up all around us.

Join us as we head outside to explore how nature wakes back up in early spring. This time of year brings the return of the salamanders, and with a little luck, we may even spot eggs in the vernal pool. You never know what discoveries are waiting just beneath the surface!

Oops — quick correction!

We noticed an error on the flyer we previously shared about summer camp. The camp dates for Ages 4–6 and Ages 11–14 on that flyer were incorrect.

The good news: the dates on our website registration page have always been correct. This updated flyer includes the correct dates.

Our camp sale is still happening this weekend (Saturday & Sunday), so it’s a great time to register!

Summer Camp registration is now open!

We missed our Small Business Saturday sale this year, so we’re offering a special this weekend only — register on Saturday or Sunday and receive $25 off one week of camp.

Our summer camps take place at Grailville in Loveland, where the creeks are always a favorite and the main attraction. We’re also excited to be adding some new activities and surprises this year!

And if you’re on the west side, stay tuned — we’ll be sharing more soon about upcoming camps and programs at Woody End Farm in Harrison.

A new year is here, and our Winter 2 Session begins January 8th. We’ll be spending our time exploring, playing, and discovering the Hidden Science of Winter.

If you want your kids to get outside (even in the colder months!), this is a wonderful way to embrace the season and learn that winter is a fabulous and fun time for being outdoors.
