Vision

To illuminate pathways and eliminate obstacles to student success at the University of Cincinnati. Goals

Starfish: Strategically expand to more gateways courses, campuses, and advising centers, creating a true student success network at UC while standardizing student outreach and tracking item protocol. Transfer Advising: Hire and train a highly skilled team of advisors, create articulated pathways to goal attainment, and serve the needs of transfer, transition, major-changers, and non-matriculated populations. Advisor Training and Development: Create a comprehensive new advisor orientation program and professional development series along with online advising tools, including websites, training modules, and resources. Partner with and serve as a centralized resource and support for academic advising and student success at the University of Cincinnati. Become experts in assessment of our programmatic student success efforts and become a national best practice in our work in each of these areas.
