At last night’s Board meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing students who earned perfect scores on their state assessments, as well as student-athletes who went above and beyond in competition this year. 💪

🚧🏗️ New Colerain Elementary - May 2026 Construction Update
May marked another exciting milestone for the project as steel er****on began in the kindergarten wing. Progress also continued on the west side of the classroom wing, where block walls are steadily rising. Concrete crews remained hard at work forming and pouring sections of the site retaining wall and courtyard seating areas.
On the main building pad, foundation work has been completed, and foundation block is being laid around the stage. In addition, the site water and fire lines have been installed around the building and continue towards Compton Rd.

At NWLSD, we believe in knowing every student by name, story, strength, and need. This belief manifests through meaningful relationships like the one between Asher and Mrs. Triantos at Struble Elementary.
Asher wasn’t supposed to be in Mrs. Triantos’ class at first, but after scoring high on the CogAT test, he was moved into her class to be with the gifted cluster. These two have developed a strong relationship ever since!
“When students feel known, they feel valued. And when they feel valued, they thrive,” says Superintendent Yater.
